Hydraulic Rolling

Curved beams and sections to tight radii (down to 400 mm) on angles, channels, I-beams, flat bars and extrusions.

3-roll section bending curves angles, channels, I-beams, flat bars and custom extrusions into arcs and rings with minimal distortion. Hard-way and easy-way bending available, with full rings or open arcs. Used for curved staircases, portal frames, curved canopies and display structures. CNC controlled with hydraulic drive for precision radius control.

Frequently Asked Questions

For hard-way rolling we assess section aspect ratio first. Mandrel support or distortion management tooling is used for close-radius RHS to maintain section shape.
Typically 10× section depth. For example, a 100 mm channel can be rolled to a 1 m radius hard-way. We provide a full feasibility check before quoting.
