Gas Cutting

Cost-efficient oxy-fuel cutting for structural plate from 6 mm to 200 mm with CNC profile and bevel options.

CNC oxy-fuel gas cutting offers an economical solution for thick structural plate where laser or plasma are cost-prohibitive. Multiple torches cut simultaneously on a gantry table up to 12 m long, maximising throughput on large structural programmes. True-shape nesting software minimises plate waste. Bevel heads up to 45° prepare weld edges in the same pass, eliminating secondary grinding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Gas cutting is preferred for plates above 50 mm and where equipment cost per cut must be minimised. For thinner material with tighter tolerances, plasma or laser is more suitable.
Yes, with controlled preheat to prevent cracking. We monitor interpass temperature and can provide a documented cutting procedure for high-hardness steels.
Our 12 m gantry table accommodates full mill-length plates. Wider plates can be repositioned and re-cut with matched reference edges.
