TIG Welding

Precision welds for critical joints — 350A AC/DC, back purge for thin-wall stainless, titanium and exotic alloys.

GTAW TIG welding produces clean, radiographic-quality welds on thin-wall stainless, aluminium, titanium and exotic alloys. The preferred process for pressure-retaining (≤ 6 mm) and food-grade applications. Low heat input minimises distortion. Orbital welding for pipe spools ensures repeatable, code-compliant joints. Back purge standard for stainless pipe.

TIG Welding

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — we weld gauges as low as 0.5 mm using a backing bar and pulse control. Tack sequences are designed to manage distortion.
Visual inspection on all welds, liquid penetrant (PT) for surface-breaking defects, and radiography (RT) or TOFD where volume inspection is required.
Orbital TIG is used for high-purity pipe systems where manual welding variability is unacceptable (pharma, semiconductor). Our orbital heads weld tubes from 6 mm to 114 mm OD.
